Tanger Outlets The Walk Leads Earth Day Cleanup

World Class Outlet Center Partners with over 25 Businesses and Organizations for Largest Community Cleanup in Atlantic City

GREENSBORO, N.C., April 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- In honor of Earth Day, Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc. (NYSE: SKT) has announced a partnership between its center in Atlantic City, the ThisIsAC community movement and more than 25 local businesses and organizations for a city-wide cleanup effort on Friday, April 22. Participants will be picking up litter and debris within and around their vicinities from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

According to Keep America Beautiful, a U.S.-based nonprofit organization dedicated to help end littering, increase recycling and beautify American communities, litter cleanup costs more than $11.5 billion each year. Litter impacts quality of life, economic development, and the environment, with most litter eventually ending up in waterways and oceans.
